On 13th May the English Government has released detailed guidance on moving home - buying, selling and renting property during the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. Our priority is to safeguard all of our people - clients, customers, contractors and staff therefore we have initiated new protocols that comply with and in many cases exceed the minimum standards, we ask that you comply with these procedures.

VIEWING APPOINTMENTS

• We offer video virtual tours of our available properties. Please use these to filter your search and only request physical viewings of properties you are genuinely interested in.
• Before viewing, you will need to confirm that you are not suffering any symptoms.
• We are unable to offer transport so please make your own way to the agreed meeting place and where possible, please try and avoid public transport, especially at peak times.
• We will need to maintain a 2 metre distance at all times.
• Viewings can only take place with two adults and the appointment restricted to 15 minutes in total
• You will be asked to wear a mask and disposable surgical gloves, we can supply these. You may also be asked to wear disposable overshoes on your feet – we can also supply these.
• You will be asked not to touch anything whilst in the property.
• The occupier of the property will be asked to ensure the property is well ventilated and that internal doors are left open and will also be asked to leave the property while the viewing is taking place.

MARKET APPRAISALS

• We will continue to offer video market appraisals and can continue to value properties without physically entering them.
• We will need to confirm that you or any members of your household are not suffering any symptoms.
• If we do visit a property to value it, we will maintain 2 metres distance and we will wear facemasks, gloves and disposable overshoes throughout the appointment.
• Before we visit, please ensure the property is well ventilated.
• We will touch nothing in the property unless it cannot practically be avoided.

VISITING OUR OFFICES

• Although our offices are open for business, many staff will continue to work from home.
• We ask that you avoid coming to our offices unless absolutely necessary but if you do need to visit please arrange an appointment.
• Some staff will be working from home so there may be less staff physically in our offices at times
